Who we are
This website, smarthomecinemas.co.uk, is operated by Art of Integration Ltd (company number 08298612), registered in England and Wales. Our registered office and showroom is Unit 101, Image Court, 326 Molesey Road, Walton-on-Thames, KT12 3PD. We design and install home cinema and smart home automation systems across Surrey and London.

What personal data we collect
We collect personal data you give us directly:
- Enquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number, project postcode, the type of project you are planning and any details you include in your message.
- Showroom bookings: appointments booked through our scheduling provider (Calendly) include your name, email address and chosen time.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Correspondence: anything you send us by email or phone.
We also collect limited technical data automatically through cookies and analytics, described in our Cookie Policy.
Why we use your data and our lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals – legitimate interests (responding to a request you made), and taking steps to enter into a contract.
- Delivering and supporting an installation – performance of a contract.
- Sending our newsletter – your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Understanding how our website is used – your consent to analytics cookies.
- Keeping business records – legal obligation (accounting and tax law).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business: our website hosting provider, our email provider, Calendly (showroom bookings), Google (analytics, as described in the Cookie Policy), and our accountants where records require it. Providers act under contracts that restrict what they can do with your data. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to two years from our last contact, so we can pick up a project conversation where it left off. Data connected to a completed installation is kept for six years after the end of the contract, in line with warranty and accounting requirements. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis of processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@artofintegration.co. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
