How we work
Every project follows the same four steps. First, you visit our demonstration cinema and smart home showroom in Walton-on-Thames, or we come to you. Second, we survey the room or the house and design the system around it and around how you use it. Third, you see 3D visuals of the design before you commit, so there are no surprises. Finally, we install, planning the work around your build programme or your household, and our own in-house maintenance team, led by our Technical Services Director, Nick Dunning, looks after the system after handover.
You deal with one team from the first conversation to aftercare: design, installation, programming and support, without being passed between contractors.
Designed as one system
Most homes use more than one of these services, and they work better when they are designed together. A cinema needs lighting scenes and blackout blinds. Control4 needs a wired network behind it. Multi-room audio shares the same equipment rack as the television. Designing them as one system means one app, keypad or remote runs the house, rather than a drawer full of remotes and a phone full of apps.
If you only need one thing, that is fine too. Many projects start with a single room and grow, and a system designed properly at the start makes adding rooms later straightforward.
Where we work
We are based at Unit 101, Image Court, 326 Molesey Road, Walton-on-Thames, KT12 3PD, and work across Surrey and West and South-West London. Recent projects include a basement cinema at Roehampton Gate, whole-home Control4 and Lutron lighting in Hampstead, commercial audio and lighting in Canary Wharf, and full home automation in Cobham. Working with architects and interior designers
We work alongside architects, interior designers and developers on new builds and renovations, and we run RIBA and BIID accredited CPD sessions on home technology. Involve us at drawing stage if you can: cable routes, equipment space and acoustic allowances are easy to settle on paper and expensive once the walls are finished.
