Situated in the heart of London’s bustling business district, Oasis Bar in Canary Wharf required a full audio and lighting upgrade to support its dual identity: a calm daytime social space by day and a high-energy pre-club destination by night. The owners wanted a system that would create a seamless transition between these two environments, with exceptional sound quality, dynamic lighting, and effortless control for staff.
Art of Integration was appointed to design and deliver a complete commercial audio and lighting solution, ensuring the venue could operate at its highest potential throughout all hours of the day.
The primary goal for Oasis Bar was to create a versatile, immersive atmosphere that adapts to the rhythm of the day. During daylight hours, the venue needed warm ambient lighting and clear, well-balanced background audio for socialising and casual dining. As evening approaches, the system needed to shift easily into a more energetic, club-ready environment with deeper, more powerful audio and dramatic lighting scenes.

Our design strategy centred on three principles: performance, reliability and ease of use.
To achieve even sound dispersion and consistent audio quality across the venue, we engineered a powerful Sonance commercial audio system. This included premium-grade speakers for both the main bar area and the rooftop terrace, ensuring:
Exceptional clarity at low volumes
Depth and punch during high-energy evening sessions
Outdoor-rated performance for the rooftop area
Seamless audio coverage with no dead zones
This system ensures the bar can maintain the perfect atmosphere regardless of how busy the space becomes.
Lighting plays a critical role in shaping the customer experience. To support the bar’s day-to-night transition, we installed a Rako lighting system, allowing the team to trigger preset scenes with a single touch.
These include:
Day Mode – warm, welcoming ambient lighting
Sunset Mode – richer tones as the venue moves into evening
Night Mode – dynamic lighting scenes aligned with a pre-club atmosphere
The result is a highly adaptable environment that enhances the venue’s personality at every hour.
Given the fast pace of a Canary Wharf venue, staff needed simple, intuitive control. The installed system allows team members to adjust audio levels, lighting modes, and source inputs effortlessly — all through a unified control interface designed for reliability and speed.
This was a fast-moving, deadline-driven project due to strict scheduling requirements from Canary Wharf management and the client’s desire to open ahead of the summer rush.
