Bespoke, luxury home cinemas and media rooms
Lights, cameras, action - we consider all aspects when we design and install a high tech, luxurious cinema experience in your own home. We partner with industry leading businesses to ensure your entertainment installation is high quality and exactly what you need. We work hard to ensure the end result matches, or even exceeds, your expectations.
Luxury lighting
Our lighting solutions go way beyond closing the blinds and dimming the lights to watch a movie. You can set the mood to suit your entertainment. With the touch of a button, you can optimise your home entertainment experience. Whether you’re watching the latest movie release, bingeing a boxset, playing console games or following the match, you can enhance your experience with custom lighting.

High end home technology
You can create authentic cinematic experiences in your own home with our high quality entertainment installations. Our superb work complies with strict industry standards, guaranteeing its quality and craftsmanship.
We’ll equip your luxury home cinema with the best technology including high-end speakers, ultra-short throw projectors, sharp screens and more. The end result is immersive Dolby Atmos sound and 4k resolution for a truly immersive experience.

Sound quality
A superb audio system transforms the cinematic experience. As well as installing impressive speakers and Dolby surround sound systems, we’ll optimise your cinema or media room’s acoustic balance for the best sound experience. By choosing certain furnishings, you can alter the acoustics. We’ll work with your interior designer to get that just right.
Where necessary, we can apply acoustic treatments or soundproofing materials to keep the cinematic sounds contained.
Superior seating
You’ll want to sit back and enjoy your movies, and that needs comfy seating. We partner with industry leading luxury seating manufacturers to source the furniture that looks good, feels good and suits your style and space.
Design
We’re passionate about creating your perfect home cinema design. We’re meticulous in planning and preparing the layout that suits your requirements. We’ll create 3D visuals of your beautiful new cinema room design. Together, we’ll refine the proposed layout and finishing touches to ensure you’re happy with the end result.

What a home cinema installation includes
A home cinema installation from us covers the whole room, not just the equipment: design and 3D visuals, the screen and projector or TV, a Dolby Atmos speaker system, acoustic treatment, seating, lighting scenes and one-touch control, then calibration and aftercare from our own maintenance team. You can see and hear it first in our Walton-on-Thames demonstration cinema.
A professionally designed small cinema room typically costs £15,000 to £25,000 fully installed; our small cinema room cost guide breaks that down line by line. Larger rooms and reference-grade equipment go beyond it.

A home cinema room or a home theatre room?
They are the same thing: a room given over to film, sport and gaming, with the screen, sound and seating designed around each other. If the room also has to work as a family living space, a media room may suit you better, and we will tell you honestly which it should be.
Every home theatre room we build starts on paper. Our home cinema design service sets the seating, screen size, speaker positions and acoustics before anything is ordered, and our guide to home cinema room layout explains the thinking if you are planning your own. In London, see our page on home cinema installation in London.

Home cinema rooms we have installed
- Roehampton Gate, London: a 7 m by 8 m basement turned into a family cinema with 9.4 Dolby Atmos sound, a JVC laser projector, Moovia seating, Control4 and Lutron lighting.
- Oxshott: a 120 inch acoustically transparent screen, a KEF 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos package and six recliners in two rows, designed around a sloped ceiling, with separate Control4 modes for films and football.
- Weybridge: a basement cinema with a 126 inch acoustically transparent screen, in-wall KEF speakers and a sports bar alongside.
- Esher: a concealed projector lift and motorised 120 inch screen above a lounge with a bar and pool table.
What a home cinema installation involves
Every cinema we build follows the same sequence, and knowing it in advance helps you plan the rest of the build around it.
- Consultation. A free first meeting, either at home or in the demonstration cinema at our showroom, so you can hear how different screens and speaker systems compare.
- Survey. We measure the room, note the windows, doors, ceiling height and anything that limits where a screen or speaker can go, and look at how power and cable will reach it.
- Design. Drawings of the room layout, a complete equipment list and 3D visuals showing how the finished cinema will look. Adam Wolfe, who founded the company in 2012, takes the design lead on every cinema.
- Approval. You sign off the design before installation is scheduled, so nothing is ordered on a guess.
- Installation. Cabling first, while walls and ceilings are still open, then the screen, projector or TV, speakers, acoustic treatment, seating and control once the room is finished. We plan this around your builder's programme or your household.
- Calibration and handover. Picture and sound are set up for the room, and you get a proper introduction to the system rather than a manual.
- Aftercare. Nick Dunning, our technical services director, heads the in-house maintenance team that looks after the cinema from then on. Our Control4 programming carries a 12 month installation warranty, and Control4 equipment has a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.
The budget is settled at design stage, line by line, before anything is ordered. For a guide to what a small room costs and where the money goes, read our small cinema room cost guide.
Choosing a home cinema installer
Searching for home cinema installers near you will turn up everyone from TV-mounting firms to dedicated cinema designers. A few questions sort them quickly.
- Can you see and hear their work first? The demonstration cinema in our Walton-on-Thames showroom runs a Sony 4K laser projector onto a 2.8 metre acoustically transparent screen, with Lyngdorf 7.2.2 sound and Kaleidescape film players. Bring a film you know well.
- Will they draw the room before they sell you the kit? Ask for a layout, an equipment specification and 3D visuals, and expect the screen size to be worked out from where you sit, not from a brochure.
- How will it be controlled? One remote or one app should run the projector, the sound, the lighting and the blinds. We are a Platinum Control4 dealer and won Control4's Circle of Excellence award three years running, from 2023 to 2025.
- Who looks after it afterwards? Find out whether support comes from the people who built the room or from someone you have never met. Ours comes from our in-house maintenance team.
- Will they work with your other trades? A cinema involves builders, electricians, architects and interior designers. There is a meeting room at the showroom for design presentations, and we run CPD sessions there for architects and interior designers.
From our Walton-on-Thames showroom we install cinemas throughout Surrey and in West and South-West London.
